Driving the Buick Enclave for Road Trips

It's been few months already that we took a road trip for 7 days and I was thinking of going some place again. Probably off to Georgia and Tennessee which are not too far from us. My wife wants to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga.

This probably is a good season to drive there. When we pass the state last October, we were in great awe of the view of the mountains which certainly very different than what we used to seeing here in Florida. On that note, traveling in a comfy car such as the Buick Enclave is the best option for me. I usually rent a car when traveling far and I already had my pick, the Buick Enclave. What do you think?

The Neighborhood of our Condo

Four days ago, wife and I called our trusted realtor and informed him that we are ready to let go of our condo. Not that we don't love this place but, because we found a better place for investment. This property is immaculate and the present renters maintained the property in excellent condition.

 

This is the front of the condo and two spaces at the front are the reserved parking space for us. If there are guests, we have plenty of parking spaces located on the opposite side.

 

That is the screened porch which is commonly called Florida room. Others call it sun room as well. The mail box is located on the side of my property, right next to the stairs which is truly convenient.

Nutcracker: The Music Game

Just a quick recommendation if you have children who loves music,  puzzles and games, check out this CD. Summer is here and we don't want kids to be bored at home right? If you have no time to go for an outdoor activity, at least give them something to do. This is educational too. For all mommies and daddies out there, you might want to find this CD and have your kids play with the games and puzzle.

 

Amediate Engineering Ltd

Just the other day, our car was locked totally. My wife and I thought it was just the remote key fob and its battery was just dead. The windows won't move, the radio won't start and so on so; we decided to bring the car to the shop and have it fix. Gezzz! It was the main computer frame that needs to be replaced. We can't do anything but spend few hundred to make it in great shape again.

While we were there, a man brought his car to replace the joints. He said, his car needed to replace the entire half-axle because getting the joint off of the axle takes several hours. He doesn't want that besides, the labor costs are cheaper to just replace the whole thing.

He was talking about the half-axle and the transaxle. His transaxle or transmission is alright but, he needed to have it repair because there is a clicking sound when turning it and he just want to be safe on the road. He knows that it is only a matter of time before problems could arise so; spending big bucks for fixing the problem is better than being sorry later.

They also design, fabricate and install the project. What a piece of mind right?

On the way home, we stopped by the shopping mall hoping to find a Canvas Printing shop. My wife requested a piece of art to be displayed at the office so; we were hoping to find one. Nope! We didn't and the best option would be is online. Check out the photo above. What an amazing view huh?

The office was a bit in a chaotic scene right now. We hired two Home Insulation workers to insulate the office room. After we bought the house a year ago, we realized that summer time, it is really hot and in winter, it is the coldest. We were able to address the problem and now, finishing up with some decors.

Besides of that reason, I am also curious about the flightless birds and burrowing parrot which are called the kakapo and the kiwi. The latter is a national symbol in New Zealand and I want to see it up close.

Citizenship and Integration Grant Opportunity

Last April, the USCIS announced the availability of the Citizenship and Integration Grant Program. This is a competitive grant opportunity of which promotes immigrant civic integration. It also prepares permanent residents for citizenship.
 

This type of program will provide almost $10 million in funding and that is for citizenship preparation programs in communities all over the country. If your organization is interested, you must meet the deadline. All applications are due by May 22, 2013.

The USCIS is expanding the availability of high-quality citizenship preparation services. The organizations selected to receive the funding will be the one to offer both citizenship instruction and naturalization application services to all permanent residents. 

Come September 2013, the USCIS is expected to announce about 40 award recipients. If your organization is interested to apply for this funding opportunity, you should check out www.grants.gov.

Housing Market Will Bounced Back

Just the other day, one realtor told us that the Real Estate business is showing a good sign. More people are looking to purchase a home in fact, she sold 4 houses in two weeks time. Just two blocks away from our neighborhood, a housing complex will be constructed soon. Indeed, there is a good sign that the housing market bounced back from rock bottom.

During the first quarter of last year, we were scouting for a new home and it saddened us to see houses in foreclosure. Too many families were forced to find a new place to live and lost their homes where kids lived most of their lifetime.

Housing market will soon come back. People finds job and will be able to purchase and own their property again. I am hopeful that it will not be too far the wait.

Probate Court

Have you made your last will and testament yet? If not, it is very important that you do this for the simple reason that your last wishes will be carried out exactly as you want them to. Another important reason would be if you have minor children you want to be able to designate who will be there Guardian when you pass away.
