If you marry in another country like I said in my previous steps, this will require more paper work. I also found a k-1 visa does go faster than the K-3. How long does it take? Well this is depending on the circumstances of your case. If you have completed the information correctly such as the correct address and phone number, there may have to be a security check done all of these things and it will slow down the process if the information is not filled out correctly.
