Download the Naturalization Requirements Information (2 pages)
- Make sure that you are eligible to apply for Naturalization. If you are, then;

- Read the Naturalization Eligibility Worksheet first and if your answers to all questions are "TRUE" then, you qualify to apply the Naturalization.

- Read the instructions carefully.
- Fill in the correct information about you (Form-400). It has 10 pages consisting into 14 parts. Each item has corresponding instructions given so; make sure, you download both.

When you gathered all the required documents, filled up the form, and had the exact amount of money for the FEE then; file it. Take note:

If you are filing your Form N-400 at one of the USCIS Lockbox facilities, you may elect to receive an e-mail and/or text message notifying you that your application has been accepted. Therefore, you must complete Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, and clip it to the first page of your application.
Filing Fee is $595 plus, $85 for biometric fee for a total of $680. There is No FEE required for military applicants. Also, the applicants who are 75 years of age or older are not charged a biometric fee.
