Five Types of Backups to Protect Your Business

At one point or another, most people have experienced the sinking feeling that comes when they grab the mouse to “click here” and get the blue screen of death. If you have your computer files currently backed up, the problem is merely an annoyance. If you are not current on your backup, the problem is much worse. Not only is it annoying, but it can cost you a lot of money in irretrievable data as well as efforts to find and restore what data you can.
Following are five types of backups that every small business should use to protect their data:

• Automatic backup systems
• Syncing programs
• Complete system backup
• Incremental backups
• Offsite storage and backups

Automatic Backups

Part of the problem that individuals have with backing up their data is simply remembering to do it. That is the beauty of systems that automatically backup your files. Once you have set up the system, it will automatically run based on a schedule that you determine. Moreover, automatic backups can occur using either physical storage or storage in the cloud.

Syncing Programs

There are programs on the Internet that will create a copy of any file or document as it is saved. For this to work correctly, you must be connected to the Internet. When you are offline, the syncing process waits until you are connected to happen.

Complete System Backups

A complete system backup is simply that, a backup of every single file and program on your computer. Generally speaking, this backup is done rarely. Once it’s done, you follow it up with incremental backups.

Incremental Backups

Incremental backups are designed to backup only the files or programs that have changed since your most recent backup. These backups take much less time to do than a complete system backup.

Offsite Storage

An important element of backing up your data is to have a copy that is stored somewhere other than your physical location. This is to protect your data in case your building or computers are damaged in some manner. Cloud storage is an excellent offsite backup that makes your data easily available wherever you are. All you need to do is “click here” and follow the instructions to gain access to your data.

Falcons vs Saints

Boy, I was a bit disappointed yesterday's game because Falcons vs Saints is not shown in the local channel. I was updated with the game score though and was happy that my favorite team won their first game, 17-23.

Next week, I am certain that they will air the game of Saints vs the Buccaneers in our area. I am excited to see my favorite team, Saints in action! What is your favorite #NFL team?

Naturalization Test

To become an American citizen do I have to take any kind of test? The answer is Yes. To become a citizen you must take a naturalization test and pass it.

You will be required to have an interview  and  you will be asked about your application and background. You will also be given a civics and English test unless you qualify for exemption or waiver.

What if I don't pass the test?

If you do not pass the test, you will have another opportunity to take it. If you fail any of the test at your first interview you will be given a retest on the portion of the test that you failed.  You will have between 60 and 90 days from your first interview to retake the test.

If you go to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website, they have study materials available for you and also practice test which you can take. On the actual test you will be asked 10 questions from a list of 100 and you must answer 6 out of 10 correctly to pass the civics portion.

To determine on how well your speaking English level is, you must read one of three sentences correctly to demonstrate your ability to read English. You must also write one out of three sentences correctly to demonstrate an ability to write English . If you study the material available for you on the website, you should have no trouble passing.  Good luck!

When my friends and I went to New Orleans, we went to one of the famous bars in the heart of French Quarter. We love this place and we hang out for a long time reminiscing our younger days while observing tourists who were in and out of the bar. I noticed that every time the tourists went to the bar, most of them purchased something. I went to ask the bartender and he told me, their hurricane glasses are selling like hotcakes! It was a great souvenir with their name on it and so; I bought three as a souvenir and for my friends back home. The hurricane glasses below remind me of that bar in French Quarter.

What Makes the Fusion a Good Choice in Mid-Size Sedans?

The mid-size sedan market is very competitive, with many options such as the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and the Hyundai Sonata. The Ford Fusion first entered the competition in 2006, and since then has offered a variety of features and engine options, including a hybrid model. For more information on a Ford Fusion dealer, visit www.FordFusionCarsPlainfieldIL.com or similar websites.

Fusion History

The first generation of Fusions lasted from 2006 to 2009 and underwent a few changes during that time period. The first generation began as a front-wheel drive model, with all-wheel drive being first offered as an option in 2007. The first fusion had a standard 2.3-L four-cylinder engine with 160hp and a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission. A 3.0-L V6 with 221hp was also available, with a six-speed automatic transmission. The trim levels available were S, SE, and SEL, with a sport package being first available in 2008.

Second-generation Ford Fusions experienced a redesign of the exterior, as well as the addition of a Sport trim level. The standard engine was a 2.5-L four-cylinder with 175hp, and an optional 3.0-L V6 with 240hp, both options being front-wheel drive. The Sport trim level had a 3.5-L V6 with 263hp and an option of all-wheel drive. All engines could be paired with either the standard six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission.

The Current Fusion

The current generation of Ford Fusion debuted as a 2013 model, with exterior updates and the trim levels of S, SE, and Titanium. Engine options include the standard 2.5-L four-cylinder with 175hp, a 1.6-L turbocharged four-cylinder with 178hp, or a 2.0-L turbocharged four-cylinder with 240hp. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, but the 1.6-L has the option of a six-speed manual. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models, but all-wheel drive is an option for Titanium trim levels. The 2014 Fusion has the addition of a 1.5-L turbocharged four-cylinder as a fourth engine option. Two hybrid models are also available, which boast fuel economies of 47mpg in the city and 47mpg on the highway, or 44mpg in the city and 41mpg on the highway. The expected fuel economy for the 2.5-L engine is 22mpg/24mpg, while 25mpg/37mpg is expected for the 1.6-L, 23mpg/36mpg for the 1.5-L, and 22mpg/33mpg for the 2.0-L.

Standard features for the Fusion include power locks and windows, a trip computer, automatic headlights, an auxiliary jack, power side mirrors, 16-inch tires, and key less entry. Standard safety features found on the Fusion include electric power assisted steering, airbags including side curtain and front knee airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, LATCH, and rear child locks. The upper trim levels offer such additional features as 17- or 18-inch wheels, an exterior keypad, heated mirrors, rear vents, remote start, and HD radio. Termini Hotels in Rome

Are you planning for a European Travel? If one of your itineraries is Rome then, you must be looking for a reasonable-priced hotel in the city. Guess what I found? A great hotel in the heart of Rome and you will be thrilled to know that this hotel is also located near train station, a mall and not only that; the Colosseum is just walking distance.

This hotel is completely renovated and their amenities include Wi-Fi which is extremely important for us  right? The location of this hotel is in the city so; if you are not tired after a long day's visit to all historic places, you can enjoy a great dinner in one of the best restaurants in the area. Feel free to enjoy the night life in Rome and when you are ready to retire for the night, the hotel is just walking distance from those great places. Great location and easy access!

Rome train station hotel has a very reasonable price in fact; when I tried to book for January, it gave me a price for as low as EUR 119 for 3 days stay. That is truly a great deal! Let me warn you though that, if you visit Rome in peak season such as the Holy Week, prices in all hotels are truly expensive. Book early and you might get a deal too.

The Astronauts of Skylab After 40 Years

Have you ever heard about Skylab? Photos below were taken at Astronauts Encounter in Kennedy Space Center here in Florida.

Recently NASA celebrated the 40th anniversary of Skylab at the Kennedy space station. My wife and I attended this celebration. There was a panel of astronauts assembled at the Kennedy Space Center , nine of them, to be exact. They discussed their experiences on Skylab to a crowd of tourist and citizens of the country.
It was very interesting to hear about their experience of living and working on Skylab, and it surely did lay the groundwork for our present space station. These men are truly heroes for what they endured. Their experiments help us go to the moon and are paving the way for future trips to Mars and beyond. These astronauts surely did a great job.

Skylab was a space station launched and operated by NASA in 1973. It was the first space station and has laid the groundwork for our present space station now operating high above the earth.
