Having a New Home

Do you have a new home? I bet you already change your address in the post office right? That's the first thing that you should do. As soon as you move, make sure that you transfer all the utility connections to your name such as Natural Gas, Water, Electricity and Waste Management.

It is a good idea to save all the papers regarding your new home such as contracts, sales receipts, manuals, and home warranty documents. Put them in a safe place which you can remember easy. Make sure you track your moving expenses for tax deductible purposes.

Change your driver's license and vehicle information as soon as possible. Also, make sure that you inform your friends and family about your new address. Familiarize your area and locate where the libraries, community activities, local businesses, hospital, police station, city hall and more. Then, register to vote in your new community.
Lastly, enjoy in your new neighborhood as well as your home.
