The Affidavit

What is an affidavit? And affidavit is simply a written or printed or declaration of fact made voluntarily under oath.

When you make an affidavit you are sworn before a notary or other authorized official. The person making the affidavit is referred to as the affiant. The affidavit is a statement of given facts giving on beliefs or information.. The affidavit can be used in many circumstances. For example , verification of documents, employment information ,for eligibility, benefits. The affidavit is used in courts as complaints ,disclosures and answers. An attorney, paralegal , or even a Notary Public can help you make an affidavit.
