The trial of Casey Anthony today was very sad and gruesome. The forensic team from the Orange County Sheriff's Department was testifying about the condition of the little girls body. They were testifying about the duct tape around the little girls skull. I thought there was only about three pieces of tape over her face but they showed a photo of the tape and it was much more. This segment of the trial seemed to have quite an effect on the jury as two women were almost in tears. Casey Anthony was crying quite a bit also. I noticed she could not look at the photos she sat with her head down and never looked up. At one time I also noted she was shaking and quite pale her attorney was trying to console her throughout the trial. We were not allowed to see the complete photo of the child the judge had ordered the gruesome parts to be blurred out. However the jury did see the complete photo and I think it had a profound effect on them. It also had a profound effect on Casey as the trial had to be stopped at 3:30 PM because she to was sick to continue. She was led out of the courtroom looking quite pale and visibly shaken up. The question is will she be well enough to attend her trial tomorrow?
