There are many con men and scammers thinking of new ways every day to separate you from your money. Many scammers like to you the services like Western Union to scam their victims.
Here are just a few tips that may help you from falling victim to their trap. Only send money to people that you personally know or trust. Make sure to verify any emergency that requires you to transfer money. Never discuss your personal information with anyone. Never send funds from a check before it has cleared your bank. Remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Western Union is a great company and will do anything to protect their customers so if you think someone is trying to scam you through a wire transfer contact them immediately they know how to deal with these types of scams.
