When taking a trip such as a cruise or international travel you might think about obtaining travel insurance.
Travel insurance will cover you in the event you have a trip cancellation or interruption. This is not an expensive insurance and can be as low as $2.50 cents per day. You may purchase travel insurance that will cover medical costs while in a foreign country. Many people prefer to purchase travel insurance that will cover the cost of the trip if for some reason it is canceled or you can't make it for example for medical reasons. Many plans will offer trip interruption loss of baggage or medical evacuation. You don't expect to cancel or even have a medical emergency while traveling but these things happen so you should be prepared by having travel insurance. So before embarking on your adventure check with your agent about obtaining travel insurance it will give you peace of mind.
