Extended Warranty

Extended warranties is it a good idea to purchase an extended warranty when buying appliances, or an automobile? The choice is really up to you but I will point out some disadvantages of the extended warranty.

You should read carefully the terms of the warranty and what it covers , and how long most products will not break down or have problems in the first year or so make sure your extended warranty covers the period when wear and tear on the product truly takes effect. Be sure to check how much the deductible you will have to pay before the warranty goes into effect, you must read the contract carefully. There may be exceptions to the repair or replacement provided. There could be certain parts that are not covered under the warranty that could be expensive. There could be situations in which the warranty is void such as dropping the product or water damage . If you are dealing with electronics. Be sure to check the terms of how many times you can use the extended warranty. There could be limitations. Do your research before signing on the dotted line for an extended warranty . This could save you a lot of stress and grief.
