Wholesale Clubs

There are many different opinions when it comes to wholesale clubs. The pros and cons very depending on who you're talking to. I myself have had a pleasant experience with my wholesale club which is BJ's.

I think the secret to this is knowing what you want and how much of it you want before even going into the club. In other words make a list. Many items because you are buying in bulk are cheaper than the local supermarket. My club also has a deli similar to most supermarkets. I have noticed that most items in the deli are just about half priced as similar items in the supermarket. For example sliced yellow cheese did run from $5.95 up to as much as almost 7 dollars in the market the same cheese in the clubs was $3.49 a pound.

Of course one of the disadvantages of shopping at one of these big warehouse stores is almost everything you buy is in bulk. But you still save money when purchasing like this. So if you're going to buy one can of tuna fish at a time this is probably not the place for you. If you have a large family and can purchase eight cans of tuna at one time this would be the place for you. So pay a visit to your local warehouse store and see if can save money by shopping in bulk.
